Don't use tampons during the period. Also, don't scratch it as it will make it worse. You can try a couple of things. * Vinegar & Water Douche * Tea Tree Oil & Water Douche * Yogurt - External & Internal * Inner Health Tablets (take a lot when you've got an infection - I've done 10 a day) * Garlic Tablets * Diet - eat less Sugar as this feeds the candida & don't eat anything with Yeast in it (Beer, bread etc) If you skin is really sore, put some vaseline to stop the rubbing. It has some sort of anti-fungus that kills bacteria. Very inexpensive. I think when you take antibiotics from the doctor it just covers up the problem. Try to stay away from foods with high sugar content. Like bread, pasta, rice, beer, and junk food. Garlic should take care of it. I took some Garlic pills and was successful.
