I heard plain yogurt helps. Make sure you don’t eat or drink anything with sugar.

Take a hot bath with about a half a cup of baking soda in it. My doctor was the one who told me about that. It really does work but you might have to do it for a few days.

If eating yogurt (with active yeast cultures - most don’t have them) doesn’t work just go get some monistat, not worth risking your health over stuff like that.

Eat yogurt with active cultures such as Dannon: it needs to specify since the active cultures are what battles the yeast infection.

yogurt… yes it works.. and if you don’t like yogurt.. then there are some over the counter pills that have the same acidophilus I believe it is AZO or something like that they make vitamins for bladder infections too.. My gf hates yogurt since she started taking those she hadn’t had any problems..

Yes, when I was very much into natropathic remdeies, I would do one of two things…or both…use acidophilis liquid both orally and as a diluted douche..and/or take yogurt and use one of those applicators that they use for chemical yeast products or contraceptive jelly and insert yogurt (plain..live cultured) before bed for a few nights.
Sounds yucky, but it worked very well!

yogurt and stay dry. clean yourself…. also, if you can, go to the store… normally even those cheap remedies they have there will help.

my mother always used a baking soda paste, it’ll crackle but she said that it work. you’ll need to do it at night when you’ve no plans on going anywhere, or a weekend would be best. just mix in a couple of tablespoons of baking soda with water until it’s a paste and rub on infected area. if it’s a new infection this should take care of it, however if you’ve had it awhile, there’s a chance it’s moved on “up” and you’ll need a doctor for that.

Try putting plain yoghurt on the affected area and eat some for good measure. It works, sometimes faster than you would think.
Also, limit the amount of sugar and bread you eat for a while.

Go to your local health food store and get an herbal tincture of thyme. It has very powerful antifungal properties that work extremely well in treating candida (yeast).

Here are listed a couple of the home remedies for yeast infection:
· Regularly daubing apple cider vinegar in the areas prone to this infection. Your can add some garlic to stop the itchy feeling; and water to dilute the vinegar concentration
· Curds or yogurt is regarded as one of the best home remedies. In fact, it is advisable to soak a tampon into curds and place it in the infected region for at least an hour. Basically, the healthy required bacteria from the curds will replace the unhealthy yeast bacteria. This could be repeated twice to thrice a day.
· Drink at least two glasses of buttermilk a-day, whether infected or not. In fact making curds a part of the daily diet in take reduces the probability of yeast infection.
· Mixture of olive leaf extract with grapefruit seed extraction a glass of water is a good curative tonic for this infection.
this site offers even more do it yourself relief.

I’ve yet to find any good cures, but I’ve been advised on applying natural yoghurt to a tampon, don’t take hot baths only warm showers. If you only like baths then make sure they’re not too hot and don’t wash your hair in the bath at the same time. Don’t wear tights or too tight clothes, try to wear plain cotton pants. Use non-biological washing powder for your clothes, drink lots of water and if all else fails Diflucan is amazingly brilliant! Get better soon!
